  • Autumn inspiration

    Warm colors of the fall

A change of seasons always requires a little update in interior decoration. This fall the trends for interior decoration invite to recover the colors of the fall: those toasted browns recalling the fallen leaves of trees, or the changing colors of the forest, to give warmth to spaces, while not forgetting to preserve the top trends of the year. Let’s see some:

    • Relaxing retreat

No more only White interiors, the idea is to include some little details, like a couple of new cushions with colors that recall relaxation, like our Series Reina with white background and tones of blue.

    • Incorporate forest elements

Especially remarking burnt orange and dark wood: orsay series include flowers and lines with those colors. Finesse series is another series bringing on forest elements in several colors, like a Sakura flower or design Posy which is basically falling leaves from a tree.

    • Color copper

This color is another interesting trend this fall, it brings elegance and shine without too much blink, in a warm metallic color, like our series Hindu, also on HP Nova.

    • Vintage, washed away effect

Now you can incorporate other colors, like we do in our series Plaster, that has a washed effect, but also in our series Oldage, printed on our greyish base Prada but with worn-out metallic prints in various colors.

Organic look: earth and nature colors, in light shades, inviting to relax. Our Lainen and Micado fabrics go very well with this trend, in beiges, off-whites, creams. In Scandinavia, the linen look for curtains with darker browns and greys is very strong, as Scandinavians search to make the house look warmer but modern. Also there is a stronger environmental awareness within Scandinavian population to use organic fair-trade materials, that not only are healthier inhouse, but also are eco-friendly.

Pastel-colored fabric lace curtains to give rooms a look of a calm place with a romantic touch. Our best-seller Mikonos and also for Ikaria in vanilla, Snow-white, aqua, pearl, ash colors, from our standard color card.

Light metallic sheer fabrics: Mikalik, and Ganges, with a metallic gold or silver yarn incorporated, elegant and modern.

Matte translucid fabrics: like Assam and Krishna, in our series Bengala, especially on those countries where there is less sunlight, it is important the fabric allows most of the light through the window, yet maintaining the privacy.

Metallic luxe: serie  Luxury, with designs Dinasty and Infinity, will continue strong trend this season, but for the spring/summer in warmer colors than for the winter. Base neutrals of soft greys, golds mixed with light beiges, light blues and greens with silver metallic, but with a washed effect so it gives a more vintage look. Serie Oldage, with a wide range of colors of metallic print, with flower and tiling patterns.

Geometrics: Micro Patterns, this is a recurring trend over the past few years, that though changing color palettes, stays strong this season, especially with dazzling micro-repeats. This look works better including a relevant color contrast so that intrincate details show up. This season we can outline blues/white combinations. Serie Cubista: Picasso, Braque, Leger, in indigo blue and aqua green. Serie Denmark, designs Tonder Oudense, with different shades of blues.
