Since 2014 - 2015, geometric interior trend is increasingly popular in home decoration. Now is a totally well-known style and has become a “must-have” at home: in bedrooms, in the living-rooms or even outdoors…

The real reason of geometric theme success is that it is a really versatile trend, with timeless and elegant designs -big or small- that is used in many different interior styles: mid-century modern feel, contemporary or even industrial spaces.

Let’s see some inspirational pictures with prevailing geometric motifs!

SERIES MATRIX and SERIES CUBISTA, combining black&white, as well as yellow&white gives a minimalist-Nordic style to rooms. (Design Cubista Braque is also available in more color options).

    NEW RECYCLED COLLECTION!

Yes, we are on the way to help remove all those plastics from our seas and oceans, by using recycled polyester yarn made of PET bottles (PET= Polyethylene terephthalate).

    recycled

Indeed, we are about to launch a couple of new fabric developments containing both recycled polyester: for every square meter of fabric used, 5 plastic bottles are recycled!

    Our equation:

    equation

Tons of plastic waters bottles are currently floating on the surface of our oceans, which are becoming a garbage dump, killing marine life and negatively impacting our environment, billions of pounds of plastic currently floating in our oceans. So much, in fact, that plastic covers about 40% of the ocean's surface.

And as you all know, plastic is one material that nature cannot recycle on its own, as it is not biodegradable.

    post2

There are indeed many ways to recycle plastic bottles and other plastic waste, but transforming it into usable yarn for weaving fabrics is one of the most efficient ones, taking into account the billions of meters of polyester fabric consumed both by fashion and home deco industries.

    post-recycled

That is why Hispano Tex has decided to seriously invest in producing a range of fabrics with recycled polyester, that not only they are green because of their production process (OEKO_TEX, Detox…) but also because by producing them, we all help cleaning our planet of plastic waste. Ideally, in few years, we should not use more regular polyester only recycled from PET bottles, thus creating a healthy green loop from raw materials to consumers.
