  • New recycled fabrics, by Hispano Tex

NEW Series REUSE and series CONVERT

The value of using recycled fibers and materials is increasingly being recognized in Home Textile industry as much as in Fashion Apparel world, since both consumers and producers environmental awareness is significantly building up, as people demand a zero landfill society and clean oceans.

Not only it is critical to create a consumption/production loop that enables to recycle polyester items indefinitely, but it is vital that natural materials are also recycled and reused, instead of letting them decompose in the landfills, which is a process that can take hundreds of years and may release CO2 into the atmosphere

Thus a sustainable textile business needs to learn to use recycled synthetic yarns as well as to reuse organic materials to really help generating permanent demand for both plastic waste and textile organic scrap.

Thus a sustainable textile business needs to learn to use recycled synthetic yarns as well as to reuse organic materials to really help generating permanent demand for both plastic waste and textile organic scrap.

Furthermore, using recycled materials is a huge decoration trend that keeps gaining strength through the years all over the world. It has been very popular, especially in commercial spaces, using recycled wood, cartoon, or reusing pallets, glass items and others…

Following this initiative, we have already developed two fabrics containing both recycled polyester from PET bottles and recycled cotton:

    steel

    • Fabric Steel

is a resistant plain woven with a panama structure made of 59% recycled polyester and 41% or recycled cotton. It is slightly greyish, as some of the yarns are dyed. Initially, we will use it as a base fabric for printing original designs. Series CONVERT will be printed on fabric Steel and will be presented next January in Heimtextil 2018.

    • Fabric Box

has a canvas structure with 59% recycled polyester, 32% recycled cotton and 9% of acrylic yarn. It will be also used to print original designs collections: Series REUSE will be also presented in next Heimtextil.

Hispano Tex is so committed to achieve a sustainable production of textiles by using recycled yarns that we are working to get the necessary certifications now that we are developing fabrics containing recycled fibers: we are being assessed to achieve accreditation of Global Recycled Standard (http://textileexchange.org/integrity) as our aim is to specialize in offering quality sustainable fabrics that accommodate your relevant needs in Home textile manufacturing.

The desired effect of the GRS is to provide brands with a tool for more accurate labeling, to encourage innovation in the use of reclaimed materials, to establish more transparency in the supply chain, and to provide better information to consumers.

  • Mad about plaids

New series SOFT, printed on flannel

One of the permanent influences in interior deco also to follow in the 2018/2019 trends, is the use of warm and rustic prints on organic fabrics. If we combine it with the super strong trend coming also from fashion on checked patterns & tartan woolen plaids, then we have series SOFT.

    soft2

It includes some checked patterns and tartan designs printed on a fine and smooth flannelette, a brushed 100% cotton woven, which we usually supply only in beam-jet dyed solid colors (KAUNIT).

Now in series SOFT, you will find both patterns and plain colors done by rotary printing. And remember, our cotton flannelette is much cheaper than woollen plaid fabric, yet it provides the same touch, warmth and comfort.

    soft3

Series SOFT will display trend colors of modern tartans using soft grey and blue.

This series of original design prints will be exclusively presented at Heimtextil 2018 in Frankfurt, from 09 to 12.01.2018  -  Hall 4.1 booth E 41

  • New Fall/Winter 2018 trend

    Autumn bloom in series PALACIO

Autumnal bloom is a fashion trend presented in Première Vision New York show that is coming very strong from 2018/2019. As we’re used to, fashion has a direct influence in home decoration trends, and this retro tendency will be one of the rulers next year.

Thus our design team has created series PALACIO with a bright bloom print, a Damask texture on background, and printed on a fine sateen woven fabric. Colors included are over-dyed, something we will see much next fall/winter season, especially in upholstery.

    SATEN3

The influence for next year on floral patterns is clearly directing to oversized blooms with high-contrast colors, which is exactly what series PALACIO reflects. The idea is to create a super romantic atmosphere with a vintage look, using darker and more vibrant colors.

Such trend will be seen both on printed fabrics and wallpapers, and it will be the delight of the vintage romantic fans.

  • New series STRASS

    Inspired in elegant black&white trend

Strass is a hard shiny glass used for making imitation jewels or gems for decoration of fabrics, garments and even shoes. Our fabric Grease on light grey with some silver metallic yarn, resembles precisely strass; yet on textile, it is a perfect canvas to print delicate bohemian designs inspired in romantic drawings and elegant geo patterns in black and white.
